New Berry Post + Peridot

Hello jammers! As you can probably tell from the title, there is a new Berry The Koala post up right now!

As you can also probably see from the title, the new things today have something to do with peridot.

What is peridot?

It seems that it's a stone, for sure! And a pretty one at that. I always loved that yellowing green color, it reminds me of Spring leaves.

Some Peridot fun facts:

• It is associated with protection, healing, wealth, the Zodiac Libra, and the planets Mercury and Venus.

• "Peridot is a stone of lightness and beauty. Only spiritual or clear-minded persons should use peridot. The person with too many earthly problems will not be able to understand the beauty of the Peridot. The very spiritual can wear peridot in a necklace with the stone at the base of the throat to feel its soothing effect. Used in a necklace, peridot is a protector against negative emotions." – crystal-cure.com (This may be true to some degree.)

• Peridot is believed to have originated from the small Egyptian island known as Zabargard.

Also, I'd like to tell all of my AJ buddies to not send me Jam-a-Grams with questions or gifts on them, as much as they're appreciated. I am nonmember and cannot respond effectively using only the provided dialogue. In short, please don't get mad at me if you send a Jam a Gram asking for my cat hat and get the response of "Monkeys rock!" back to you.

As you may have heard, I'm starting Buddies of the Month back up again. With my account "switch" I'm not completely abandoning DoomyPanda. I will include buddies on DoomyPanda's list as Buddy of the Month.

Duchess is one of those jammers of my buddy list who just stuck around for the longest time without ever faltering. a few words I can use to describe her are unique, fun, and loyal. Even now as I rarely log on to DoomyPanda, she's there waiting for me to come back online with much to tell me. She's never one of those who just talks away, though, she was always interested in whatever I had to say. Our conversation was never superficial or awkward, and she was always there if I needed someone to talk to.

Thanks for always being there, thanks for accepting my buddy request, but most of all, thank you for being my friend. :)
