Snow Pile + Strange, Unreleased Items

Hey Jammers! The new item of today is sold in Jam Mart Furniture.

Hey, whatever happened to the ice block item? As far as I know it wasn't even released last winter. I really hope it will come later. And if any of you are wondering, the color change button gives you different shapes of snow blobs. It's a good "building block" item!!

For this second half of the post, I'm going to talk to you about a couple deleted and unreleased items. There are WAAAY more in Jamaa– or that have been in Jamaa. This post won't have pictures of them all, (this will be more commentary) but I hope these give you a little insight into why items get deleted, why weird items appear out of nowhere (and then just as quickly are removed), and why items glitch.

For the first one, I'll show you the absolute weirdest unreleased item ever screen-captured:

Yeah, while this could have easily been transparent clip art of a clock photoshopped onto an AJ screenshot, that seems pretty unlikely. It's not something so out of the ordinary on Animal Jam that you'd think "Why in the world would AJHQ even think about releasing this???" but it's strange enough to recognize that this wasn't intended to stay on AJ forever.

Then what could this be? A test, most likely. This was probably to test out items that involve actual time keeping, such as the grandfather clock: once you enter a den with a grandfather clock it spins randomly a second and then adjusts to your time zone. But one problem with my idea: the date the screenshot was taken is clearly pictured right there– long after time-keeping items were first introduced. Then what could it be?

The second one was introduced directly after The Forgotten Desert's first appearance– then quickly wiped from the game. You probably know what I'm talking about.

Animal coins! These were available as prizes in The Forgotten Desert in all animals in all colors, but the one variation that was spread around most AJ blogs is the blue horse coin. Animal coins are den items that rotate around themselves suspended in midair. How did these come to be in Jamaa only to be so quickly taken back? Easy: hacking.

I think these are going to come back. They seem very elaborate, if you think about the work it took to make them. Three dimensional with pretty good spinning animation! Why put that to waste?

That's all for now,
see you in Jamaa!

Heyyo! I love it when you guys comment. I'm always checking for more, so even if you comment on an older post I'll definitely see it and try to respond. :)

Before you comment, of course, here are some basic things to remember:

-Don't be mean on purpose.
-Keep the comments appropriate for all ages. This is an Animal Jam blog.
-No spam, please! That means no comments just saying "buddy me im animaljam123" or "hi", just add a little more than that.
-Rants/long comments totally encouraged! You don't have to apologize for a long comment, I love reading them xD

-*NEW!* Please be safe about the personal information you share here, and on the internet in general. Just like AJ's in-game safety guidelines, don't share your real name, photos of yourself, phone number, address, email, or age. Always turn to a trusted adult if you're unsure about something.

Pretty easy rules. Nothing to stress about. As long as you follow them, you can say whatever you want!
