Decoding (Possible) Bunny Script

Hey Jammers! I'm going away for the next few days, so I won't be posting again until I'm home on August 1st. I'm really really really excited!!! :D

Before I go, I wanted to leave you with a little mystery...

So I was looking through the AJ Wiki, trying to figure out if any items from adventures would make my den look cuter, when I stumbled upon this item.

This item is a prize from a (now unavailable?) adventure called The Phantom Badlands, and it's an inscription that Peck wrote to get the attention of the brave adventurers who hope to rescue her from the phantoms.

I didn't think much of it when I actually undertook that adventure, but the text on it seems familiar now:

This is text from Brady Barr's lab, and although it doesn't quite match Peck's inscription, I recognize a few characters from it on the sign above.

The question I have is whether or not this is some kind of Bunny Script. What do I mean by Bunny Script? Well, here's Tiger Script:

This is an image shared by AJHQ, presumably from a screen only they have access to. It was used to explain the text on the Chalkboard item, which has the phrase "WELCOME TO CLASS. THIS IS TIGER SCRIPT."

I've always assumed that there were more scripts than just Tiger, just judging by how the chart above is laid out. It looks like there's a list of scripts, and Tiger is just one of them.

However, the difference between Tiger script and the images of what may be Bunny Script is that the Tiger Script as it's seen on AJ on the chalkboard (and a couple "SALE" signs in shops) is that places with Tiger Script appear mostly uniform (meaning, it's clear if two characters are the same)

Still, if you look closely at the two pictures at the top which I think may be examples of Bunny (or some other) Script, there are repeating characters. They're just not copy-and-pasted like it seems the script on the chalkboard is, so there's a little variety.

But wait, there's more! You'll realize that the different Scripts may appear similar to English (the "THIS" on the Chalkboard is pretty clear)

We might be able to sort of figure out what the Peck Inscription is saying...

The word that looks the most like English is at the very bottom and it seems to say "–PECK"! This can be a reference, now that we know what those four characters mean, but it doesn't seem the other text on the sign has any of these characters. (The first character may also be a P, but it seems unlikely...)

Maybe we can use the fact that in the adventure, Peck's signs were used to give advice.

This is turning into a longer post than I planned, lol

Assuming that the /. looking character at the top is just one character, the message has this many characters, none of them repeating and none of them P, E, C, or K:

_ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _

What kind of advice could fit into 9 characters and fit the above criteria? (or 8, if the dash on the second row is a period).
It might not be exactly two words– maybe it's one long word. Maybe it has nothing to do with the actual warning signs.

I need your help! Let's try to crack this code together. Somehow. :D

Here's one thing I'm thinking right now– the text on the sign and the text in Brady Barr's lab are probably not the same script. Maybe that text is... Monkey Script? I'm just making stuff up now.

Here's another instance of coded language on an AJ item:

Hmm... Wolf Script? This is Greely's Blackboard.

And because this post has been trying to get to the bottom of what may be Bunny Script, here's a picture of a baby bunny who has been visiting my backyard:

Even though my family has a pretty sizable veggie garden, this baby bunny prefers to eat the plants growing in the cracks of the pavement. In this photo they have a lil leaf in their mouth <3

Pro tip: it's 100% normal for baby animals like bunnies to be alone for periods of time. Just cuz you don't immediately see their mama doesn't mean they necessarily need your help! Look for other signs before you jump to conclusions.

Okay... I think I'm done now. See you in Jamaa! In a few days, cuz I'm travelling!

The Worst Glitch Ever + July Jamaalidays

Hey Jammers! Welcome back to another post on Animal Jam Stream :D

The update came today, and again, this Wild Weekend is a little bit different! For these next few days, the Jamaaliday Party is going on:

(not the whole snowy, daily gift Jamaalidays– just the party)

As of right now, the next party is in 30 minutes, and I don't feel like waiting that long to post. But using my psychic powers, I predict... Candy Cane Socks will be sold! *lightning crashes*

Thinking about winter during the summer is a little disconcerting. Even though this has been a long summer for me, I've spent most of it lying around doing nothing XD luckily, I think I'll be traveling in a couple days...

Pet goats!

Enough said

There are only TWO WEEKS LEFT to spend hours running BACK AND FORTH in a NEVER ENDING WAR to get PRIZES that you are better off TRADING FOR !

That Rare Black Knight Armor sounds intriguing, mostly because it's hidden in a box and RIM's never seem to get attention in the Jamaa Journal.

"Black Knight Armor" isn't an item currently existing in Jamaa, so maybe we'll get something all new!

Knight Armor is, though–

I completely forgot the Knight Helmet was nonmember, or even that it existed. I gotta find one soon...

And a little "Did You Know" about plushies and toys. Honestly, plushies and toys are really underrated items– they can be so cute! I don't mind this Jamaa Journal filler ^-^

Before I go, I wanna talk about something that has gotten on my nerves for what seems like years, and what I believe is truly the worst glitch at the moment.

Every time I get a Jam a Gram from a nonmember, it only says 'Animal Jam rocks!', even when I'm sure they selected another message.

This also means that when I send a Jam a Gram saying a different prepared message like "I really like your outfit!", all the other person will get is "Animal Jam rocks".

Not only do nonmembers have to put up with not being able to type messages, we can't even use the preselected phrases we're given to communicate.

I guess I should have talked about this earlier, because I've been experiencing this problem for at least 2 years now.

–Oh, and a side note! Thank you to the person who sent me this Jam a Gram. I sent you back a note saying "I really like your outfit!" because I noticed your panda was wearing the pirate-like variation of the Dyed Hat And Curly Wig, and I just generally thought your animals looked cool– but you'll probably get another "Animal Jam rocks!" back XD

I was also gonna add a little extra thing you guys might find interesting, but I have stuff to do so you'll see it in tomorrow's post!

See you in Jamaa, and stay summer-y B)

Drawing + Diamond Brick?

Hey Jammers! Once again, I'm walking into a post empty handed– or am I?

I might not have much news right now, but this is a drawing of an AJ panda I'm working on. They'll have a background and maybe an accessory or two later!

It's hard to draw with a mouse :P

Drawing it has made me want to change the look of my panda. Still, I'm attached to the design on the left because if I recall correctly, it was how I decorated my panda when I first joined AJ. Oh well

Moving onto some actually news-worthy news:

An idea from @AnimalJamIdeas on Twitter (AKA Difficult of The Animal Jam Timber) got the attention of AJ's CEO! This seems pretty big, considering that Difficult's Twitter account isn't very old.

Because it seems like a very easy thing for AJHQ to accomplish, wouldn't it be great if this idea became reality? :D

I may have said this before on my blog, but the bronze, silver, and gold bricks in Epic Wonders were also suggested by someone I knew, Catlover25. They don't play AJ anymore, but I hope they're doing well.

I know I don't have much content today, Jammers, but I thought I'd check in anyway! I hope all of your summers (or winters, for those in the Southern hemisphere?) are really fun so far ^-^

Gonna focus on art today...

see you in Jamaa!

Hair Dye + Weird Promo

Hey Jammers! I'm back, for now– I might be going away for another few days sometime soon, so I'll keep you updated.

I'm so glad it seemed you guys liked the last post about zodiac-themed clothing ideas! What should the next theme be? Hmm... tarot cards? Different kinds of flowers? Birth month? Let me know your ideas in the comments!

It's another Wild Weekend, everyone, and this time is a little bit different than the others. First of all, the special items are in Jam Mart Clothing, and we have two nonmember variants to wear!

As you can see, they're all recolors of pre-existing hair items, but they're good recolors! None of that Rare Item Monday eyestrain here XD

(More Rare Item Mondays should be colored something other than neon. Come on, there are so many colors in the world!)

My favorite item here is the Dyed Hat And Curly Wig, specifically this variant:

I never liked this item normally, but having this color scheme turns it into a kind of nonmember Pirate Hat!

Now if only I had a Pirate Sword to complete this...

Here are the variations of the Dyed Spiked Hair:

I'm only showing you the variations of the nonmember items because those are all I care about :P

Here's a tip: to make the Spiked Hair look more natural on your animal, make the part of the animal that touches the wig most the same color as it. On a panda, it's the bottom color, and I think on a wolf it's the top color– but you can figure it out.

Next up, a brand new code! Literally– it just came out today.

The code APOLLO11 brings you...

A Moon Rock Lamp!

Lunar Footprints!

Rover Tracks!

And finally...

The flag of Fin– wait, what?

Even though the Daily Explorer post only said the code yields three moon-related items, I guess AJHQ was feeling generous and decided to throw in the Finnish flag as a bonus.

Or maybe... this is deeper than that. Maybe AJHQ has some secret information that the government isn't telling us.

Maybe... AJHQ is trying to tell us something.

Maybe...

It wasn't America that landed on the moon first.

It was FINLAND

Do what you will with this top secret knowledge, Jammers...

Zodiac/Horoscope Colorful Clothing Ideas!

Hey Jammers! Once again, I'm walking into a post empty-handed in regards to news– if you want to learn about daily items, The Animal Jam Timber is the way to go. (And Rainbow000Pegasus's blog, but right now she's on a hiatus until the 28th)

For this post, I'd thought I'd come up with some more clothing ideas with the magic of Best Dressed. It's filler, I know, but it's fun filler! Because this time I have a better theme: zodiacs/horoscopes!

So I don't personally believe that the constellation you're born under influences your personality at all, but it can be fun to put yourself into fantasy categories anyway. It's also easier to come up with colors and items that can represent a zodiac sign (signs have colors and motifs associated with them), so I think you'll find these clothing ideas a little better than the ones that have come before on this blog.

If you're not familiar with zodiacs, they depend on when in the year you're born.

Different constellations are thought to be visible from Earth during different times, which is why zodiacs depend on date.

Again, I don't really believe in zodiacs, but they are a lot of fun!

First up, my own sign... Sagittarius:

Also known as The Archer– hence the arrows. Sagittarius people are thought to be adventurous and social, but the only trait associated with Sagittarius that I identify with is "you like to look at maps". That's true. I do like to look at maps. X)

Next, Libra! I designed two for this one. I prefer the second one, but maybe you'll also like the first one.

The sign Libra is associated with balance, harmony, and design.

Now, Aries:

Aries (otherwise known as The Ram) is associated with outspokenness, energy, and daring.

Moving on, Leo! Leo is associated with pride, charisma, and honesty.

You might be wondering where all these traits come from. Well, constellations are just clusters of stars that people have decided look like familiar things. People say that the constellation Leo looks like a lion– so all these traits are just things people associate with lions! (Never mind the fact that each lion has their own personality, but oh well...)

Here's Virgo! Virgo are thought to be diligent workers, quiet or modest, and very observant. I don't know about you, but I really like this dress-up ^-^

Heeeeeere's Gemini! Gemini are thought to have two different sides to them (their symbol is The Twins) so to represent that I used the complementary colors green and pink. Along with that, Gemini are thought to be outgoing and indecisive.

And now, Scorpio. Traits associated with Scorpio are intuition, and the tendency to go deep into things they care about.

Time for Aquarius! This sign is associated with creativity, friendliness, and rebelliousness.

Pisces! Considered idealistic, open to change, and intuitive.

Aaaaand Capricorn! Thought to be ambitious, responsible, and kinda spooky.

Next up, Cancer! Also known as the Crab, Cancers are thought to be sensitive, caring, and protective.

And finally... Taurus!

Also known as The Bull, Taurus is a sign considered determined, grounded, and generous.

At the end of the day, these traits apply to anyone, but tell me what you think in the comments!

I'm going away so I won't be posting for a few days or more, so don't be alarmed! I'll be back soon :)

See you in Jamaa~
