Clothing Ideas: Nonmember Koala

Hello jammers! I got positive responses rather quickly from my last Clothing Ideas post, and it was clear that this is a type of post that most of you enjoy. Thanks everyone for your feedback! :)

I agree with this comment entirely. Most items look awkward or exaggerated on koalas and sometimes it makes them hard to dress. I don't have a koala on my main account sadly, but I do have one on one of my others. The downside, however, is that the account has been dormant for a while and it doesn't have very much in it.

I'll try to do the best I can though. :)

You can use any of these outfits, or add onto them to make them your own. :)

You can try using the darker colors on the sides of the color palette that you would usually ignore. You can combine them with lighter colors for a nice effect!

I'm sorry if this wasn't helpful. I usually try to make my nonmember animals simplistic (item-wise) and I spend more time on the color scheme than the actual items. For me the main idea is that if you make the animal's colors appealing to you, then you don't have to put lots of items on.
I know and see many jammers who coat their entire animal in items to either show them off, or as they say it, make them seem cool. That's perfectly okay if you're into that, but you don't have to follow the unwritten rules that others have set for how you design your animal. In short, people will still like you even if you only put a couple items on your animal.

I hope that was helpful, thanks for reading! And as always, see you in Jamaa!

Liza's Newest Look + Hat

Hey jammers! TGIF, am I right?

Today's new item is sold where else, but Jam Mart Clothing.

Not my cup of tea, but this goes nicely with the hat and feather! Even though you can't wear both at once.

In other news, AJHQ changed Liza the Panda Shaman's looks again.

Hmm... Better than her awkwardly 3D look, but still I'm not impressed. I honestly think that more people will like the original, old look than any of the new ones. Plus, I think the smile is creepy on this one.

That's all for now. Have a pawsome friday! :)

Trading Tips

In Jamaa, close to everyone trades their items daily, or whenever they log on. Though while it may be popular, it's still a little difficult sometimes. This post is a bunch of trading guidelines and tips for you to remember whenever you see something on someone's list you want.

  • First off, consider if the person is member or nonmember. This is because if you're offering a trade such as, an orange fox hat for a blue one, or a regular item for a colored copy, the item you want will have different value to the person with it. While technically speaking, an orange fox hat for a blue one is an 100% fair trade, there is a large chance if the person is a nonmember, it will be cancelled. Why? Because since they can't get colored fox hats, but can get the regular ones, they see the colored ones as rarer. So if you come into that situation, don't get angry and get out your caps lock.

  • If the trade is fair, that does not necessarily mean it will be accepted. Like the above guideline, different items have different value to different jammers. If you had say, five Cami's Frogs', you wouldn't accept a trade offering a Cami's Frog for your one and only Mira Statue. (That all in all wouldn't be a really fair trade, but you get the picture.)

  • Don't send the same trade twice to the same person if it's cancelled. People don't cancel trades just because they're not in a good mood. It's because they just don't want the item you're offering. If you send the trade twice, they won't just say "Oh, I'm in a better mood. Let's click accept." This however, shouldn't stop you from sending a trade for their item for different items of yours.

  • Lastly, just because they decline a trade, that doesn't make them mean/a scammer. Sometimes in Jamaa Township, people would walk up to me asking for my cat hat. When I told them it's not for trade, they started typing weepy emoticons and said things like "*collapses and cries sadly and prettily on ground* waaaahhh wahhhhh*" or even went around telling people that I'm a scammer. Oh, that reminds me of a bad trading experience I had! After the first month of my new membership (before I started this blog), I had gotten some cool items in trades, like some tail armor. Well, I was just sitting around at a Heat Wave party, when a nonmember came up and asked me to send them my tail armor. I told them that it was my only tail armor and that I really liked it, also that since they weren't member, they couldn't wear it or accept it in a Jam a Gram. They replied to me in caps lock, "WELL TRADE IT TO ME" and I refused. They told me "brb, writing bad things about you on my blog." and left their computer. I didn't give in and send them the tail, because I for one didn't care about my identity on AJ at that time. I was ticked off immensely, though. They got back and typed; "your doomed, panda." and left. I still remember their username: Djjamisland.

Thanks for listening. Happy trading! :)

Strawberries + Irritating Blog Bug

Hey jammers! The new item is– members only, sadly, –and sold in Jam Mart Furniture.

Buy these berries to grow and harvest in your den!
It's a bit sad that these are for only members. I'm counting now on just the pumpkins or melons to be nonmember...

Anyway, as you've likely read in the heading, there is an annoying bug going on with Blogger. It doesn't remember your votes on polls. I don't think it's just with my blog, because I went to some others and voted on their polls one day. The next day, POOF! My votes are gone. Are any of you experiencing this as well? If so, please comment.

That's all for now. See you in Jamaa!

A Fun And Easy Glitch- Still Works!

Hey jammers! Here is a glitch that me and my friends used to do for fun in the Juice Hut. Even after the flying glitch removal, it still works!

In this glitch, you'll be able to appear to slide, dance, sleep, or play across the floor in the Juice Hut! Confusing as it may seem, you'll understand it after you read this. :)

It works anywhere (including dens) with large free spaces.

First, stand here:

Next, type an action command into the chat bar– but don't press return yet!
An example of an action command:

Now click the side of the Juice Hut farthest away from you. From where my bunny is standing, click the area with the pillows. Now as fast as you can, after you take one leap away from your spot, press return!

You will dance across the Juice Hut, from one spot to another! :)
Of course it depends on what action you do. Type instead  to sleep, :sitSE: to sit facing southeast or whatever direction you chose, and :play: to of course, play!

I hope you all enjoy the glitch. Seeya!
