Long Berry the Koala Entry!

This post is just to notify you that, as promised, I have posted the new Berry The Koala journal entry as well as redesigned the blog's layout.

In my opinion, it's my best entry yet. It's really long and if you have some time on your hands, I think you'll really enjoy it!

For those who don't know, Berry the Koala is my side blog which is also about Animal Jam, but it's vastly different than AJ Stream. It's a plushie story blog about my blue koala plushie's imaginary adventures. Plushie blogs like Berry were really popular with AJ bloggers when I started mine up!

I update once a month unless under special circumstances. :)

Buddy of the Month – October 2014!

Hey animals! Second post of the day. I'm going to start working on my goal of updating the BOTM and Berry the Koala during the month, and not the day after it ends. That means that Berry will be updated today, as well as the Buddy of the Month!

October's BOTM is a fairly new friend who I met around the end of September. They're really fun to talk to and are endlessly kind, the buddy of the month is..

Crunchyfunnybear!

I met Crunchy (sort of) through this blog. Their friend came to my den because it was unlocked, and because they knew about AJ Stream. Crunchy followed, and we became friends. I love it when I get Jam a Grams saying "I love your blog" and meeting new players through it! Crunchy has a massive plushie collection, which contains every single plushie ever– except for two.

Skeletal Tail + Golden NM Clothing Idea

Hey animals! The new items of today are sold in Jam Mart Clothing and Jam Mart Furniture. It will be easy to guess which is where.

The phantom lamp is pretty cool, but the bone tail is honestly just so unsettling. Here's how it looks on a snow leopard:

So at least it doesn't completely turn your tail into a skeleton. Or maybe that's just because Happy Snowyleopard is wearing a skeleton costume over their animal... but not completely. Now that I notice it's kind of glitching out at the paws. The costume isn't fully covering Happy.

Next up in this post, a gold nonmember clothing idea!

Now that I look at it, it's more banana colored than real gold. The items you need go as follows:

• a default colored eagle hat – jam mart clothing

• a yellow lolly necklace – summer carnival or trading

• yellow mech angel wings – sky high or trading

And the colors of the rabbit are dark grey with yellow lightning bolts, as well as very round yellow eyes.

I've been noticing a lack of nonmember items over the last few updates or so. This whole week, not one item I can buy! It's weird, but then if you think about the nature of all virtual worlds it makes a little sense. They need money. But honestly, will ONE nonmember pumpkin jack-o-lantern or whatever make that big a difference? :/

Clothing Idea, Phantom Items + an Old Glitch

Hey Jammers! Why are players of AJ called "Jammers"? Well, yeah, because it's called animal JAM and jam means "a party," so technically we're being called partiers– but someone could log on and think Animal Jam is about a large, animal-run jelly making company. I guess that's why all the AJ ads on Chicken Smoothie show raccoons marching into battle. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyways, the new items:

The lamp is sold in Outback Imports, and of course the hair is sold in Jam Mart Clothing. What do you think of them? I think the lamp could look good in a volcano den because of it's texture.

In other news, everyone really has that weird glitch screenshot in their AJ folder that they keep bringing up because it's so cool but really, no one really cares about it? I've posted the following one twice and it's really old, but I'm REALLY proud of it because I'm pretty sure no one else experienced it before.

I was playing a game with Queen when her computer seemed to be slow, so I exited out of the screen before her and saw this. I've always thought it was going to be a new "play with your pet" feature. At that point, all signs pointed toward that being the biggest possibility. For example, the old loading screens showed a lion playing marbles with a hamster. But what do you think?

Next up, a sleepy nonmember clothing idea:

This includes only two items: a red clover blanket and a pair of red (default color) bat glasses. Stay spooky even when you sleep.

Coffins & Cauldrons

Hey animals! The new items of today are the phantom coffin & cauldron.
