Maze Tips + Prizes

Hey animals! The new item of today is sold in Jam Mart Furniture. You can probably guess what it's theme will be.

Remember when everyone used to complain about items being too human-ish? I guess that stopped and players just had to accept it. 

Next up, I have some tips for the cute new maze game:

Here are some quick tips for this seemingly impossible maze:

1. You won't get anywhere without using the map.

2. Try to fill up the whole map. Try new areas. You may be too busy going over where you already had been that you missed an opening to the center!

3. Look for the red tree. The maze centers into a spiral, but once you see the red tree, try to get inside.

4. If you don't really need gems, ignore the keys and chests. All they give you are gems, so if you really wanna get to the center, just head on in.

The Fake Ads are at it again

Hey Jammers! The new item is sold in Jam Mart Clothing.

Remember when this item was considered rare? Like back in 2011? That was soooo long ago. Now it's just a regular item. :/

Some more item-related news; I was checking Jam Mart Furniture, testing out the hair salon items, when I discovered something very wrong.

AJHQ couldn't.

AJHQ wouldn't.

AJHQ can put up with a chat filter that blocks the words "i love you," they can put up with players complaining about the diamond shop, but under no circumstances can they have two nonmember items in a row. 

I understand I've been rather negative about AJ recently, and don't get me wrong, I still love Animal Jam a whole lot and that hasn't changed a bit. But honestly... You have to point out things like this, right? It just isn't fair! D:<

In other news, the Fake AJ Ads are upping their game:

I saw this one on Chicken Smoothie, same with the other. They even went so far to add the "national geographic kids" logo to seem more professional, but anyone can tell when comparing these to the genuine ones that these are just sad, sad mimicry. 

Regular AJ ads use the tiki island and CC digital delivery font, one of which costs over $100. These use what appears to be Arial along with badly edited animal photos. Plus, the "ANIMAL JAM" logo is fuzzy on the sides. Badly photoshopped.

A basic rule of thumb is that if it looks like this, stay away:

Castle in the Sky

Hey Jammers! Today is update day-- but this is no ordinary, four-paged update. Well, yeah, it's four pages, but it's in no way ordinary!

Update summary:

• The new Sky Castle den is being sold in... The Diamond Shop. *sobs*

• Pet lions are also being sold in the Diamond Shop, along with some other pets I had no idea existed... I need to start paying more attention to pet news.

• As a form of consolation for all this members only stuff, a new all-Jammer Autumnal adventure has been added to the base camp! Click things like these to play. :)

• And finally, a new hair salon den item series is now being sold in Jam Mart Furniture... with the worst item being nonmember.

I bet all these items are somehow interactive, so have fun! I love how AJHQ is making it easier to create the popular themed dens. Also, I love the wig with the pink bow. :D

In other news, the clouds have cleared from Jamaa.

It was honestly so dramatic going into the Township and seeing it in all it's brightness. You can't see it, but there's also a pumpkin by Jammer Central!

The digital leaves have resumed their bright reds, and the Feast of Thanks festival is soon to come up. I'm kind of liking that they don't call it "Thanksgiving" because I've never been a fan of that holiday.

Fun Fact: While all the food on Thanksgiving is nice, the so-called "first Thanksgiving" was a short lived thing and the colonists had similar feasts later every time a native village was destroyed by them. If you want sources, I'll be happy to give them. The more you know.

Fluffy Woodland Owls!

Hey Jammers! The new item of today is nonmember once more, and completely new!

It's a cornucopia! A cornucopia is a horn shaped basket thing full of food. It's brought out in western countries during harvest. This cornucopia includes some of the fruits and vegetables you can grow with special items, plus a sad, lonely potato. Since it's November, and the online Giving of Thanks celebration is starting soon, I guess AJ is just skipping from holiday to holiday, huh? xD

Next up, here's a new Creature Feature video posted on the Daily Explorer. Today it's about woodland owls!
