80,000 Pageviews!

Hey Jammers! I've been getting an awfully big amount of page views lately for reasons unknown, and when I logged on this morning I found that I had already hit the 80,000 mark!

So to celebrate, I've decided to...

...Eat a whole lot and not care about anything. Even though that's what I do every day.

I'm definitely having an online party-type thing once I get to 100,000 page views– which is thankfully only 20,000 away! I say only because I got from 70,000 to 80,000 in so little time I can only expect the same thing to happen for 80,000 to 90,000, 90,000 to 100,000...

But here's the thing with parties: whenever I announce I'm having one– no matter how many people who say they're going in the comments– only one shows up. I don't know if I've been cursed by a witch or something, but that's the only reason I haven't had one since, what? Two years ago?

But don't get me wrong, I would love to have a cutesy little AJ party-type thing with all of you! And no matter what, I will have one at 100,000 page views. I've come a long way all thanks to you!

But the question is, would you be able to go? I know it's a little early, but I wanna know! Comment please, comments are my lifeblood. 

And now, the moment you actually care about: the Rare Item Monday... item!

The Rare Pink Purse!

On the 11th page, just like last Thursday. I feel pretty bad for those who traded rares for these, but hopefully it's nowhere as bad as when I saw someone in the Township talking about how they traded pretty much everything for a pearly tiara when in fact that pearly tiara was actually just a regular tiara... Ouch...

I don't have much else to say for today, other than this irritating buddy list glitch that's been going on since the dawn of time, it seems!

This screenshot doesn't give you much information it seems– except that this friend hasn't been on for weeks and weeks but every day it always says they last logged on three days ago. It's incredibly confusing and I don't know what the heck it means!! Why does the buddy list always act so glitchy!?

Hey Jammers! The new items of today are a clothing item and a den item, each sold in their respective Township shops.

More sweet pink and red heart items! :D

Yesterday a glitch was really messing everything up in Bubble Trouble. I just wanted to go on a quick adventure with my brother in the ten minutes he actually wanted to play AJ! -_-

Alright, so we were both stuck in one of those streams that get you from area to area. I tried to go up at first, but it wouldn't let me click anywhere! And then it did let me click, but the only area I could click was the bottom of the screen, which sent me back into that stream of terror.

Anyway, I got kind of mad so I quit the adventure and went to the Art Studio to paint out my feelings.

I hope it gets into the gallery.

Wanna see my other drawings? No? Well, too bad because I want to show my amazing talent to the world.

I can't draw animals too well, thats why the bunny turned out so wonky. I can only draw, well... fruit, fruit with faces, stick figures, and other horrifying things. Yep.

And now, a couple of announcements:

1. Berry the Koala has updated! Click the link at the top of this post to go read it. By the way, it updates monthly so keep coming back!

2. I have removed the page I had on item rarity. I just read it and decided pretty much all of the information was outdated and wrong. A more accurate resource for learning about items would be the AJ Wiki. They have a page on literally every item and it breaks a ton of misconceptions that may be spread around by scammers!

New AJ Intro!

Hey Jammers! There have been screenshots of the new Jamaa introduction going around, as you probably know. While at first I was reluctant to add another account to my already too-big collection of side users, I decided that taking another blog's screenshots would be lazy even if I credited them. So I have a bunch of original screenshots and info about the new introduction!

But before we get to that of course, we need to talk about the new item!

...Not that there's really anything to talk about with the new item. I think by now we've all accepted AJHQ's all-too-wacky imagination. Giant magnets, sewer covers that don't lead anywhere... it all makes perfect sense to the almighty Animal Jam Headquarters.

But anyway, the new item is sold in Jam Mart Clothing:

The Heart Cape! It looks more like a warm blanket than a real cape, though. I want a warm blanket...

UPDATE: I got one.

Anyway, now onto screenshots of the intro that you so desire!

I gotta point out that the intro is pretty fast paced so there wasn't much time to take screenshots. But I did anyway!

Once you arrive in the mystical world of Jamaa, you're greeted not by Liza– but the bunny alpha, Peck! She has a voice, yes, and it sounds very mechanically happy. Like a very experienced voice actor on a children's show about magical ponies. Hmm...

You're welcomed by a big group of brightly dressed animals, all excited to see you! Yes, you! Don't you feel special? Well don't feel special for too long because they're all robots. Brightly dressed robots who don't actually care about anything. Moving on...

Peck is all about the arts and crafts, as you know. So she just wants to jump right in with personalizing your new avatar. (Get it? She's a bunny so she jumps a lot? What an amazing joke. Laugh now.)

Everyone seems to love the new me, apparently. Even though everyone is silent except for the pink and purple wolf and the otter with the cone of shame taking his sunglasses off. Maybe everyone else is just jealous of my wolf's beauty...

Next, Peck asks you to use an emoticon to describe how you feel about you're new look.

Peck just gets me.

 Next, you're given some gems! You open up a treasure box and it says you get 1,500 gems. But apparently, you started out with 1,000 already!

And this is when you follow Peck down the path to Jamaa.

I closed my browser before I got to Jamaa in the slim hopes that everything could be undone. But I found out that yeah, I can still log in and once I log in the intro repeats once more. So this new user could be my intro-testing user! It's useful for something now.

Nonmember Arctic Wolf + Other Recent Glitches!

Hey Jammers! The daily items are sold in Jam Mart Furniture... behind yesterdays...?

This makes it all the more difficult to find out which exactly are new. -_-"

It's probably just a mistake though. :\

Ok, everyone, sit down because I'm about to tell you a story. A short story that you won't find very entertaining, but definitely interesting.

So I was in Aldan, looking for someone who would actually trade fairly for a neon bow. My computer was getting slower, but it didn't actually shut down– thank goodness! I am thanking goodness because if my computer had shut down, these cool screenshots I took of a nonmember arctic wolf would be lost forever!

I'm not going to spread around their username because I don't want their mailbox to be spammed with Jam a Grams. 

But isn't it cool? My friend used to be a nonmember horse, but she either never told anyone how or she told me but I forgot. 

Next up in glitches, a few rather annoying ones plagued me last night while I was trading items from my storage account over to my main account:

Here is my player card greyed out, even though I... log on... regularly...?

And here is a screenshot of DoomyPanda in Jam Mart Clothing on the server Congo, and a screenshot of my very old storage user in Jam Mart Clothing on the server Congo. While this "glitch" could be really easy to fake, I assure you that these screenshots were taken at the same time.

Now here's a little background: To trade items from my storage, I play as DoomyPanda in Safari and my storage in Firefox. This way I can have the two users interact together as if they were on another computer.

And I put "glitch" in quotation marks because I'm not sure if it's a glitch or if it shows that there are different levels to each server– like servers within servers. What do you think?

And this screenshot pretty much speaks for itself. As you can see, Toygho is my buddy but I can't follow them to their den because I'm not actually their buddy, apparently?

Wow, AJ can get a little exhausting with all these glitches.

Next Weeks R.I.M. + Update!

Hey Jammers! I had previously thought that AJHQ was switching to a triweekly update schedule, but I guess that was a one-time-only thing? Either way, I'm guessing AJHQ is shifting around their schedules somewhat.

So let's start with the Jamaa Journal!

Ok so we got: a new den, a new magical girl-esque armor set, a very early friendship party, an adopted panda (yay!!), an owl video, and a new item theme!

...in progress of being chosen.

Unlike last update, we have a bunch of new items as well! They also include a sort of glitch in the system which made next week's Rare Item Monday come out today.

The rose tiara has a kind of chunky design that reminds me of the carnation item. Only the carnation item looks shiny and metallic while this one is kind of matte.

 Friendship items already? I'm all for heart chocolates coming out again, but I'm already just getting over the Jamaalidays. Wait– what? January is almost over? My, how time flies.

In any case, you should get as many of these Rare Pink Purses as you can afford! They come with a little tassel-looking keychain, too. :D

Before I close, I'd like to give a little announcement type thingy: If I can manage it after school, I will type up the monthly Berry the Koala post. I have a ton of neglected school assignments so I'm not too sure I will, but I do have writing club today so that means I have a chance to do it in school! But I may just use that time for making up old assignments. :\
