Play-as-your-pet Party Tour

Hey animals! Recently (just yesterday) a new, tiny and exciting party has been added to the party list:

The Play-As-Your-Pet Party!

You start off near a mushroom waterfall. To the left of your pet is an area where there is a pet stop and pet wash. Sadly members only, but the shop to the right is full of tiny pet-sized items for everyone!

(only 16 gems? o.o)

A default pink (not the default brown!) couch, a sturdy table for pets to talk with friends at, and a pet door and pet chair!
(Lots of the word "pet" huh?)

Go up the cardboard stairs to the top of the tiny castle to find...

...The place where the party's music is sold, and a breath taking view.

Grass everywhere!

Look for the ladder near the pet wash. Climb up for a bird's eye view of the party from atop a flower!

And just in the short time I've spent there, I've already found a sort of glitch...

I thought nonmembers couldn't use the pet stop...

That's all for now,
see you at the party! :)

Rare Item Monday – Rare Old Hood

Hey animals! I've found a bit of time to post, and this week's RIM is especially cool. Mostly because it's for everyone!

This is sold on the very last page of Jam Mart Clothing.
Pick one up today! :)

The post on the Daily Explorer features a panda wearing the rare hood, but in this picture it's not as rare...

I wonder what went wrong?

That's all for now,

see you in December!

Break

Hey animals!

This is just a quick notice that I need to take a break from AJ blogging for a bit, preferably until December, but I may come back sooner.

I need to catch up on school things.

I may still be on AJ!

Have a great day,

Kimbara Outback – Journey Book Hints

Hey animals! I know it's a bit late for this, but since I haven't posted Journey Book hints for some time now, I thought I might post some hints on the newest book: Kimbara Outback.

HINT: Take note of the bolded words.
  1. Cassowary: Cassowaries can be spotted in grasslands and savannas.
  2. Galah: Galahs are birds of flight, but still have to rest after flying for so long.
  3. Sugar Glider: Sugar gliders are mammals that, as their name says, can glide, and leap from places to places that are far apart. Much like a flying squirrel.
  4. Tiger snake: Like most snakes, tiger snakes keep close to the ground and while venomous, need to hide (behind things) from predators as well.
  5. Trapdoor spider: Trapdoor spiders build webs over holes in the ground to catch prey.
  6. Kookaburra: This type of bird is known for the unique sound it makes, which sounds like it's saying "KOOKABURRA!". In animal jam, it is very elusive and is found on top of only one hut in Jamaa.
  7. Platypus: Platypuses are one of the two mammals that lay eggs. Yes, one of TWO mammals! The other being the Echidna. The platypus is native to Australia, and while awkward on land, has flippers allowing it to swim skillfully.
  8. Echidna: The echidna, also known as the spiny anteater, catches ants and termites with it's long nose from insect mounds.
  9. Blue penguin: Blue penguins are, as the name says, blue penguins. They are one of the smallest penguins in the world, reaching only 12 inches tall! They can be found in temperate climates of Australia, but still like to take a dip in water from time to time.
  10. Lyrebird: Lyrebirds are mainly known for their ability to mimic other animals. They can be found in the trees of Kimbara Outback.
  11. Frilled Lizard: Frilled lizards can run upright on their hind legs. Kimbara Outback is rather hot, so they like to stay in the shade.
I hope this helps you! :) If your friends are stuck too, you can tell them about this.

Have a great day!

Cosmo for Everyone!

Hey animals! This thursday update brought a lot of new and exciting things, but mainly what this update is all about is Meet Cosmo is available for everyone!

(AJ is thankful for ALL JAMMERS!)

Finally! I've been waiting to play this forever! :)
I'm thankful that AJHQ made this playable for me. ^_^
What are you thankful for?

A new animal so soon? I wonder what it could be...

This (almost finished) puzzle looks like it's natural habitat is in Mt. Shiveer, and judging by it's shape, it looks like the new animal could be a caribou. What do you think it is?

And the other pages of the journal:

A mobile animal jam game? Jump? Clouds in the background? Could there now be a mobile sky high?

The feast of thanks approaches, soon after the end of the Night of the Phantoms. I miss it already!
It seems with every month comes a new AJ celebration, and November will undoubtedly bring new feast of thanks items and activities this year. Maybe even a new party!

That's all for now,
see you in Jamaa! :)

The "Savvy Jammer" Series

Hey animals! I don't know what the new item is today yet, but there is a new post on the Daily Explorer!

Introducing the new "Savvy Jammer" series: a column of posts based around busting rumored "easter eggs" (see article) and answering popular questions about Jamaa's mysteries. This is going to be interesting. What do you think about this?

In my personal news, after a long hiatus I logged onto Animal Jam again and met up with my friends catlover25 and pielover4ever.

I can't believe I haven't seen them for months!

If you want to be friends, add me on AJ! My username is Quintanna, not DoomyPanda anymore. Again, I switched accounts a few months ago and I don't check the mailbox on DoomyPanda anymore.

Sorry for the short post,
have a great day! :)

November Birthstone: Topaz

Hey jammers! Once again, I'm seriously sorry I haven't been posting a lot/at all. I know I've missed quite a bit on AJ, and I'm beginning to suspect that no one looks at this block much anymore, so I will try my hardest to continue posting.

October has gone, and soon will all of the Night of the Phantoms items to welcome November.
Introducing, the November birthstone! :)

My birthstone! :)

As every month, this is sold in Epic Wonders in the den item orb.

Most of the time, the reason I don't post is because of a lack of motivation, so how about this: for every comment I get (not spam please!), I will make a post.

Thats all for now,
have a great day!
