Hey animals! February vacation is over (for me, at least), which means I'm going back to school, having less time to post– but it's also monday, which means that a rare item– sometimes from beta testing, if we're really lucky –comes to stores for only one day!

Den of the Month + Error

Hey animals! So, according to AJ user 113457 and a few eagles in the township, there aren't any special eagles-only sky rooms. Eagles can travel to the tops of huts and walls, but there aren't any special rooms. 

*Sad violin music*

However, there IS what looks like to be a future eagles-only adventure!

Thats clearly an eagle head. Or is it a dinosaur head? Or a turtle head? Or...? Nah. It's an eagle head carving.

AJStream news: at long last the den of the month winner has been chosen! 

I present to you 113457's den: an awesome mushroom den!

(Sorry, I know you requested your small house den to be featured, but you were offline when I took these and it's gotten too late in the month and your mushroom den is absolutely amazing. I had to feature this one. :)

The thing I like most about mushroom dens are how detailed and large they are. This one has an entrance framed by giraffe statues, a wide upstairs, a sunlit study, and a hammock by the lily pads. 
Congrats, 113457! :D

Also, an important and quick heads up:

• Berry the Koala will most likely be a bit late this month.
• The lucky parties have started up with new items. It feels a bit early, don't you think?

Swoopy Eagle?

Hey animals!! Guess what!! The eagles are here!! SKY ROOMS!! SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE DOUBLE EXCLAMATION POINTS!!

Ok, so this biweekly update is nothing short of fun. Everyone's talking about the eagles, flocking (laugh at the stupid pun) to the diamond shop. Mostly nonmembers like me who are kinda disappointed we can't see the sky rooms. But who cares when AJ has released a new game in coral canyons: Swoopy Eagle!!

Some of you may have had some deja vu hearing the name "Swoopy Eagle", and that's for good reason. Swoopy Eagle is a more kid-friendly knockoff of the popular game Flappy Bird!

Don't get me wrong when I said Swoopy Eagle was more kid-friendly. Flappy Bird is 100% kid appropriate, just insanely difficult. It was taken off the app store recently, so here's the online link: http://flappybird.io/

New Item – Liza Matryoshka Dolls!

Hey animals! Sorry for the missed couple of days; again, I'm busy so I need these short hiatuses.

The new item of today is sold in the furniture orb (lower) of Epic Wonders: the Liza Matryoshka dolls!

Matryoshka dolls are, like the name says, dolls. They're halved and hollow so the smallest one fits inside the second smallest, which fits inside the third smallest, etc.

These are really cute. I wish they were nonmember so badly. :\

In other news, AJHQ apparently has something against certain emoticons and punctuation.

Free chat or not, you've probably heard a friend or two complain about not being able to type certain characters, or anything after a question mark. Even with free chat, everyone's experiencing this, making chat a whole lot stricter. 

You cannot type the following punctuation: ^ > / % - _ = +

Answer in the comments: why do you think AJHQ did this? I'm interested to know your opinion.

New Item – Friendship Necklaces

Hey animals! Sorry for the long post delay, I've been really busy and you can probably expect another mini-hiatus soon. :(

I went to the new intro and in my opinion, it's better and goes farther into depth than the others. In short, it's more helpful. It's with different scenery, which is one of the main differences. You're on a boat talking to Liza.

The Friendship Festival is Officially Here! :D

Hey animals! There have been two weeks since the last biweekly update...

which means it's today! The update is here! :D

Update Summary

The date is february 6th, and there are friendship parties, little heart flower things, and petals scattered all around. Did you know I first joined AJ around the friendship festival? On february 17th, exactly, I logged on as DoomyPanda for the first time. :)

The friendship party is now in full swing, as we all expected, but one thing we didn't expect was the sunken ship den's accessibility extending to everyone! Now people will be underwater more often and I can get a second den! :D

I don't know exactly what the "welcome to Jamaa" is, but I'm assuming it's the greeting you get from Liza when you first join. Y'know, because... Liza's head is on the icon.

From what the Jamaa Journal said about eagles "soaring through the skies of Jamaa," it can only be guessed that that meant sky rooms will soon be coming to Jamaa!! I'm excited, aren't you?? :D

Internet safety day is on the 11th, just so you know, too. ^^

New Item – Princess Chair!

Hey animals! The new item of today is sold in the Friendship Festival party: the princess chair!

Bedazzled and wrapped in thorny rose vines, this throne is marvelous for any of you royal rhinos, pandas, and tigers who want to be revered by all–

 –as long as you don't mind your paws getting a little pricked by thorns!

New Item – Heart Couch!

Hey animals! The friendship festival is almost in full swing, just by february 2nd!

The new item is, of course, in the friendship party shop.

A year or so ago, animals would have trouble sitting on this because of a glitch. Now it's fixed, I do believe.
