DeleteI'm sooo looking forward to a break, haha. Gonna finally get around to doing many of the things I've been putting off! ---While I say that now, what always ends up happening is that I do nothing. But I can still hope X)

DeleteI didn't know anyone was still blogging about AJ, but it's a pleasant surprise. It almost seems like a relict of the past from when people were a little less social media obsessed and spent time in real online communities more. I haven't gotten back into blogging but I seem to be going through a second Animal Jam phase despite being a full grown adult in university lol. Time flies...
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's a super tiny amount of people writing occasionally for AJ blogs, me and like 2 other people maybe. I don't exactly know the reason why I've stuck with it so long, but I guess it's just been a positive thing to come back to whenever I can.
DeleteAnd I agree! With AJ blogging it can be so calming because it's not really about maxing out likes or comments, it's just about making some posts that maybe people will see and enjoy, and I think it's perfect for me because social media is kinda overwhelming lol.
It's super hard to reach a big audience though, so I get why it's not popular anymore as opposed to YouTube for example. Glad you could find me though!

ReplyDeleteit's awesome to see another blogger become active again! i also hope to start posting again soon, but it just takes a lot for me to actually sit down and write a post. but as you and annaliese p said in the previous thread, blogging is really awesome! it really is a piece of the old internet, and it's clear that aj blogging is a really cool passion project :]
though on a somewhat opposing note, i did make a post about an animal jam discord server i run! it's probably the place where i most actively talk about aj now. it's a fun server, it's decently active but not in an overwhelming way- feel free to check it out if you want to
