Hey Jammers! Even though I'm feeling pretty sick right now, I'm here with an update post as promised. Lots of interesting stuff this time around! :)
Without any more introduction, let's get right into the Jamaa Journal:
Pet elephants are here in Jamaa! I remember seeing earlier in a leak or maybe they were shown in a Jamaa Journal new pet poll. Either way, they seem strangely familiar...
Here's an elephant graphic:
Speaking of familiarity, I'm pretty sure that Wind Armor is a rerelease!
There's also a new lynx mini book! It's a little shorter than many of the others, but as always has some stunning pictures and interesting facts:
Read this by going into the Chamber of Knowledge and clicking the book under the panda tapestry.
And now, the reason why people are going crazy about this update: now you can trade up to 20 items! This sounds like it would be helpful for trading with storage accounts.
But then again, people are going to start demanding 20 things for just one of their spiked collars or wristbands or whatever it is that people are obsessing over right now. Hmm...
This September 22nd is World Rhino Day. This day of remembrance and call to action is because of the dwindling number of rhinos. To put this in perspective, across the entire world there is only ONE male white rhino left and he has to be guarded by military 24/7 because of poaching, because of something we were too ignorant to prevent but had every means to. It's grim, but it's the truth and the truth will help us move forward.
If we just ignored the truth about how in danger rhinos are right now and covered it up with something happy, then rhinos would have become extinct by now. Luckily, not everyone has done that and many endangered species have rebounded back into the millions thanks to the work of many environmental action groups and scientists!
We have to do the same for rhinos, they don't have much time left for us to wait around. There are many people trying to work toward helping rhinos out of endangerment. Here is the official World Rhino Day website: http://www.worldrhinoday.org
Let's be friends of all living beings; let's try our best to undo the damage we've done so we can finally all live in peace with each other and the planet one day!
In other news, Fall has finally fallen onto Jamaa:
I'm getting so pumped for Fall IRL in the Northern Hemisphere, and it looks like Jamaa's shops are, too!
The October birth flower has come early and Night of the Phantoms items are all over the place! I just can't wait for the leaves to change color. :D
Lastly, we have some very helpful trading tips from AJHQ themselves! Hopefully this will significantly bring down a lot of scamming and unfair trades.
Before I go, there have been some helpful changes to the bubble chat for Jam a Grams:
There are a lot more conversational phrases now so it will be easier to communicate! And what fabulous timing because any minute now I'm about to lose my membership along with my Jam a Gram typing abilities.
Thanks for not reacting negatively to my lateness and posting gaps, I've been really sick for a few days! I'll try my best to post again tomorrow. :)
See you in Jamaa!

Post coming tomorrow!
Sorry, I have a ton of homework and won't be able to post today! Tomorrow during the update, however, I WILL post!
Again, I'm so sorry but I cannot control this! :(

Graham's Workshop Update + Mei Xiang :)
Hey Jammers! I made a little Berry button for the right side of my blog, do you see it? (>^-^)>
By now you've probably also noticed that I changed up the background for Fall in the Northern Hemisphere. I know it's not specifically Fall-themed, but the warmer brownish greens are more fitting for the season, right? (Sorry to anyone living in the Southern Hemisphere lol)
I like the other background because it's more fitting for my blog title, (stream! yay. :D) so that will be returning when warm weather picks up again! I like to make my blog match how it looks outside my window lol
And now, we have the new Rare Item Monday...
And here's a photo of Bao Bao and her mother Mei Xiang hugging at the National Zoo:
Mei Xiang is such a wonderful mother ♥
Before I get carried away, let's get back to Animal Jam...
Graham's Update has been updated recently to make things a whole lot easier. Previously four people were needed for bamboo and straw collecting, but now only two are required! I know that before my membership runs out in three days I'll need to use this to my advantage to get as many colored bamboo things as I can.
Another new thing is a mysterious looking button under the settings tab:
Find Open World. For the longest time I had no idea what this button did, but today my friend peoples234 theorized that it was to get you into crowded rooms but on different worlds.
For example, if someone wanted to get into Jamaa Township on Aldan, they would go to Jamaa Township but their world would switch to Tigris. It seems pretty helpful unless you're trying to see a friend and need to stay in the same world. Luckily, you can turn it off!
I have been thinking about changing up my tag icons on the left side so they're clearer. What do you think?
That's all for now, see you in Jamaa!

The Rare Panda Hat!
I completely forgot to check the shops but I made a transparent of the RIM post on the Daily Explorer. I believe it's sold in the Conservation Museum gift shop for 650 Gems! It looks like something one of my AJ friends would wear on their panda if it were nonmember.
Speaking of pandas, this is unrelated to Animal Jam but you should really check out the Smithsonian Zoo's panda webcam. Especially right now because panda mama Mei Xiang is taking care of her little cub who is less than a month old!
Newborn pandas are about the size of an ice cream sandwich, about 1/900th the size of their mothers! Above is a picture of Mei Xiang holding her baby who is just starting to get their markings, which color not only fur but also their skin.
As I talked a little about in a fairly recent post here, Mei Xiang is a wonderful mother and has some other cubs, Bao Bao and Tai Shan. Tai Shan was born in 2005 and was moved to the Dujiangyan Panda Base in 2014. He was the first surviving panda born in the National Zoo. Here's a photo of him from around last year or this year, I think:

Fun Secrets on AJ + BOTM
Hey Jammers! Today's post will include the new item as always, but also a little collection of some fun things to do in Jamaa while you're bored. And best for last, this post will also contain the September Buddy of the Month!
Before we kick everything off right now, I just wanted to tell you that my first week of school was pretty good even though I already have two projects and I only got lost about 20 times. Yay!
But yeah, I had a great week! Great, but exhausting... Zzz...
The new item of today is sold in Jam Mart Clothing, but I'll also include yesterday's item that I missed because it's one of my favorites:
Kicking off the Fall season, leaf piles were introduced! My friend is filling her den with them completely so everyone can play in them. :D
Today's new item, the Pillbox Hat, is a rerelease from around early 2014, I think. You know I don't think I've ever seen anyone in Jamaa wearing one, and I've played AJ since before they came out! Weird.
From fantastic flowers to friendly fish, Jamaa is filled with many secrets to be discovered. Even if you think you already know AJ like the back of your hand, here are some fun things that you may be interested in doing if you're bored:
The parrot fish in Tierney's Aquarium likes you! Move your cursor around and this little friend will follow wherever.
If the four flowers in The Lost Temple of Zios all turn one color, sparkly pollen will float around in the air. Keep clicking!
In the Chamber of Knowledge, turn the volume on your computer up all the way. The quiet music that plays is very subtle and mystical!
A fun thing to do in Jamaa is walk around without the map and try to figure out which Alphas live where.
There are a ton of areas that most ignore, but a fun thing to do is switch out your hangout spot every so often with a normally unused room or spot. Hint: there are a ton of these places in the Adventure Base Camp.
Another fun thing to do is look around Jamaa for ladybugs. They may be in places where you least expect them...
Fun idea: climb things.
If you click a candle, it lights up! Try to click every candle in Jamaa. There are a TON.
In Bubble Trouble, if you pick Klaus last to save he says this.
Find every Mira figure in Jamaa. Ready, set, go!
This isn't a secret, but it's fun to play some games you don't normally once in a while. Maybe try to play some games for fun rather than gems?
If you're in Jam Mart Furniture, move using the arrow keys and sit on the pillows.
If you feel like you have too much stuff or want some gems, then go to both Jam Marts and recycle anything you don't want.
On the topic of items, if you're bored in the Art Studio you can draw a little item wish list to keep track of stuff.
Finally, on the subject of the Art Studio, use the long forgotten pottery wheel to color a container:
Have fun in Jamaa!

Last but certainly not least, we have the Buddy of The Month for September!
I present to you our winner...
tastetherainbow123!
I only met Rainbow through one of my other friends about a week ago when Lynxes came out, but I can tell they're a really great friend. They've been so fun to be around and so thoughtful!
Thanks a ton for being my friend, Sir Toughclaws! :D

I'm going to find a Fall-themed background for this blog. I'm kind of annoyed there isn't one with a stream, but I'll do my best searching!
That's all for now Jammers, see you in Jamaa!
