Something Destroyed, Something Returned

 Hey everyone!! Back sooner than I thought with another post, because--

...it's lore time.

Let's flash back to October 2017, when Club Geoz was destroyed by AJHQ the phantoms:

Ah, memories. If you're interested in traveling back to this time via some ancient blog posts by a teenager terrified of change, this post of mine is a good place to start. 

2017 was a very eventful year for Animal Jam lore in general. August featured the solar eclipse which transformed a bunch of lands into night time, and unlocked the brand-new Forgotten Archive. It was pretty cool!

It's hard to find screenshots of how the lines of power looked around the Jamaa Township fountain in 2017, but I think it was a lot different from how they appear now. That post I linked above says that they were bright blue and more animated than this time around. I think it's still the same interesting shape.

Back then the lines of power foreshadowed an explosion that destroyed Club Geoz, with the big shiny Alpha HQ being put right on top of it later. 

So... the lines of power appearing now means that something in the Township is gonna get destroyed. 

But, maybe replaced with Club Geoz?

EDIT: Apparently the Juno statue in the Balloosh temple is also glowing yellow when it hadn't before! Big thanks to Ghost for letting me know =)

What does this mean? Could Juno... return?

Thinking about it now, I wonder if something might happen this October, just like it did in 2017...

I think that a recent interview with Clark Stacey had him mentioning that something is gonna be brought back that would be a blast from the past for older AJ players. 

Club Geoz seems likely...

but what do you think will get destroyed in the process?

Before I begin! Just wanted to say thanks for your patience xD

A goal of mine has been to build back the motivation to work on the fun creative things I care about that aren't just for school or work.

But of course that's easier said than done-- motivation doesn't really come until you actually start a bit. And starting is hard.

But this post is done now! And even though it's silly, it makes me happy that it's done. Maybe you'll even enjoy it too!

He's a butterfly rescued as an egg from an area of wild plants that were going to be cut down. I just fostered him-- he did the hard work of growing up.

Hey y'all! Sorry it's been a while, school and stuff. ^^;

I actually have a really fun idea for a post. I've had it sitting in drafts for WAY too long and I just can't wait for it to see the light of day.

Still, I'm graduating soon and I've wanted to finish the semester strong, soooo I think I've been afraid of doing anything that isn't school-related these past few months. 

Yup.

So it'll be a little while longer...

but I'll see y'all soon! Just a lil bit after my post-graduation emotional crisis X)

Hi Jammers! I've been super busy with school stuff as you could probably guess, but I just thought I'd check in and wish all who celebrate it a happy and safe Halloween tomorrow c:

And to those who don't celebrate it, I hope you have a great day too. I don't really think I'm gonna do much myself... maybe at most I'll just paint my face green and call it a day.

Kind of annoying that midterms have to be right around Halloween, but what can ya do.

Yes. This bunny was outside my window for about an hour a couple of weeks ago, just relaxing and looking very round. You could have drawn a circle and put some lil ears on top, and it would be 100% correct. 

Oh! Kind of on an unrelated note...

Remember in the last post when I mentioned something about Flash being the reason for AJC's lack of updates? 

Well, it looks like I had totally missed a great explanatory post made by jrl4547 over on their blog! 

You might already know about this because it's been a while, but if you want some more clarity (and a bit of hope) about AJC, I highly recommend you check it out. 

Hmm... I guess I should go back and disappear into the homework vortex now. But first, let's visit the Phantom Vortex! Haven't done that in a while.

It has an out-of-place shop thing there now. 

Pretty standard re-colored fare. Looks like the Bat Zombie mask is nonmember-- too bad it's so ugly.
