Hey Jammers! The update just happened I'm thinking... 15 minutes ago? 13 minutes in I thought it was a pretty fabulous update. Nonmember bees... Beta party... pretty nice. And of course, I'll post on that, but before that there are more important things to attend to.
Because you see, something awful has happen in Jamaa. And the next photos of this update you're about to see will shock you, mortify you, appall you.
...Not really, but if your main animal is a panda? Think again:
Funny story, actually. Here's some context to go along with the pictures: Me and my friends just got bumblebees, and for no reason my friend Mighty (or Creature) asked us to do the sleep action, because it's the universally cutest action. I begged to differ and said that for the panda the "play" action is way more cute.
Ooooohhh, boy was I wrong.
At first I thought it was a glitch involving the new bee antenna item that I was wearing, so I took that off. Still the same monstrosity as before. All the other actions worked fine for me, the play action worked great for Mighty, Creature, Infinity, AND Handsome (two different people but four different animals, btw.) so I tried to calm down and realize it was a glitch... until my friend Mighty spoke what I'm afraid is the truth:
What if this was purposeful? Mighty pointed out that with the regular play action, the pandas butt shows up on screen, something I had literally never cared about or noticed in all my time as a panda. But still, I think this isn't a glitch. It's a new unspoken thing by AJHQ.
But let's be real... this new play action makes things a thousand times worse regarding the whole ~*inappropriateness*~ thing. I'm not going into details at all, but you get the point.
Plus, any other animals' play action (or any action at all) can be interpreted just as inappropriately as the panda's original play action. In my honest opinion I think AJHQ chose pandas to change because they're so unpopular and they thought no one would notice or care.
Please change this back, AJHQ. The new play action looks like a lot of time was put into it but it's really unnecessary, even more "inappropriate," and just all in all doesn't look good. We would much like the old play action back. Please consider.
My friends said I should complain to AJHQ, so there's my complaint. Thank you.

Happy National Honeybee Day! Show your bee friends some much-needed respect by appreciating that without them, all life on Earth would cease to exist. It's true– without pollinators, plants can't make seeds or fruit, therefore they can't make more plants, therefore making plants scarce and being driven to extinction, then from there that extinction quickly works up the food chain until Earth is but a vast expanse of cold unfeeling desert! Yaaay!
So start appreciating your neighborhood honeybees today by leaving hives bee (horrible pun, I know) and planting some bee-friendly flowers such as sunflowers, oregano, aster x frikartii, fennel, bee balm, lantana, and even the common clover flower is a favorite treat for bees!
Also; lavender smells SOOO GOOD and so planting it or even just putting a pot of it growing outside will keep bees from going hungry, as well as smell nice. Also, if the lavender dies if you want you can gather the dried buds and wrap them in cloth and carry it around in your backpack or something so it can smell sweet all the time. Lavender has some relaxing qualities, too.
Bees need a ton of nectar, too, so if you see one on the sidewalk unable to fly you should find some near flowers (like not ones people would mind missing, like clover flowers or small individual blossoms from a bush).
If you're close to home, something like a leaf soaked in honey, agave nectar, or sugar water would be a nice gift to bring to the bee. Bees get hungry like us, and if they're hurt or can't move some sweet food would make them feel a lot better!
Also, if they're on the sidewalk, try to gently move them out of the way of humans by scooping them up with a leaf or waiting for them to crawl onto a stick. Please don't kick or scrape, that will just hurt them more!

In non bee-related news, theres a poll for which den item theme is to come to Jam Mart Furniture next! There's "glitchy gear," "movie theater," and my choice, the "steampunk parlor"!
What will you vote for? I'm pretty sure the movie theater will win, but I can still hope we'll get some steampunk items first...
The Beta Party is back for the summer! Starting last summer, it now comes out every year bringing back the earthiness of the lovely beta den.
Keep in mind that while the items sold have "beta" in their names, none were ever in beta and were released last summer originally and will continue to be rereleased each summer. They're about as "rare" as heart chocolates.
My most far-out wished for this summer's beta party are A., more nonmember items and B., for the beta den to come out in the den shop as nonmember.
Go there with your buddies~ :D

Hey Jammers! This BOTM is a little different from all the others. Well, most of the others.
This one is actually a repeat that was a BOTM a long, long time ago. I've definitely gained a ton of great new friends who I'm definitely planning to feature later on, but I've chosen this specific BOTM because, well, yesterday was her birthday.
Happy late birthday, furryfruit73! For everyone reading, I have a special but no-stress request for you: could you Jam-a-gram her a quick "Happy birthday"? She's at camp right now and can't use her computer until September, but when she does check AJ I want her to smile! (>^-^)>♥<(^-^<)

Hey Jammers! Before I get to the new item, I just wanted to tell you how great it is that you read my blog and comment and send me such nice Jam-a-Grams. Thanks guys, it really makes me happy whenever I hear from you! All of you are so nice~ :D
I also wanted to show everyone my new den, because that's what I do whenever I change it:
It's messy, that's because I went more with feeling than aesthetic. Look at me here talking like an interior designer on a freakin kids website.
I also made a little writing desk that I'm proud of:
Essential items for nonmembers are flying out of Jam Mart Furniture at the speed of sound, and this rectangular table, once common, is an old victim of it. They even took away the seasonal tree! It's still going on, so head to the back pages of Jam Mart Furniture and Jam Mart Clothing before it's too late.
It's really unfair of AJHQ to do this, because as my friend pointed out, the old items like bookshelves and seasonal trees are more "flexible" than some of the newer items, like the nonmember bicycle and excavation items. You can do more with the trees and bookshelves, but what are you going to do with a bicycle?
Speaking of unfairness, (yes I'm going to prolong this post before the new item as much as possible to create ~suspense~) have you seen the party list lately?
I have literally been seeing it in this exact same order every day. Every. Single. Day. Why?
To find out, I went and got this *~eXcLuSiVe~* interview with AJHQ themselves. Here's how it went:
Me: Hello AJHQ, I have a question regarding the scheduling of the Party List. It seems that only a few different parties happen every day in relatively the same order, with parties such as the Monkeys Only Party happening only once in what seems like a blue moon. I know it wasn't always like this, so what happened? What changed your mind?

Me: But why? Is it because they just weren't as popular with people? If that's the case, why do you only let the popular ones run? If parties that were unpopular on their own are taken away completely, then the only ones that will be popular are the ones that you let be scheduled. Is there a reason this seems to be the case?

Me: Okay, I'll be more direct: what exactly happened to the Monkeys Only party? The Bunnies Only party?

And there you have it. A ~*totally*~ real and NOT fake interview with AJHQ from last century when I ran into them and the phantom king collecting seashells on Venus.
But seriously though, I think the party list should have as many different parties as possible each day, and not just the new or popular ones. That way people would go to parties more because their favorite would happen every day, but wouldn't happen twice in a row so A., they can be more excited about their favorite party, and B., so there's room for more of that!
(This would exclude seasonal parties, of course.)
So if you can, help me out and tell AJHQ to make the party list fairer! They probably won't change it unless lots of people tell them.

Or item(s), more accurately. The first one is the Princess Vanity, sold in the den orb of Epic Wonders. It's style is a bit weird for AJ, but it's definitely cute! It comes in all sorts of color schemes, so if you can you should click the rainbow button.
The Overflow game is now rereleased as nonmember, for some reason! Whatever the reason, I'm happy. More nonmember items=more stuff for ME!!!!! and also nonmembers in general.
This isn't really news because this Diamond contest already past, but I just thought this Cosmo graphic was cute:
I wish I had the skill to remove the diamond border and make it transparent soooooo bad. Cosmo is my favorite Alpha right next to Liza and Tavie. :D

So I'm just gonna show you where it all began: my first screenshot EVER:
It's full screen because thats all I knew how to do at the time. My panda's look really hasn't changed that much. XD
It was taken on April 18th, 2012– a few months after I started playing AJ on February 17th.
This was back when the Temple of Zios skyway glitch still worked and was super easy. Maybe I wrote about it somewhere in my glitches page...
Another one I have is also of a really weird glitch that happened:
So I was just minding my own business in my den, when suddenly my friend who's an underwater turtle just APPEARS and starts flying/floating around without saying a word. Weird... O.o
