Your ideas for things that should happen on Animal Jam this coming year!!!
Basically, just comment your ideas for items/updates/animals/adventures/events/etc. on this post, and on January 1st I'll edit this post to include all of them!
I'll also include some of my own, because of course I have a ton. I will credit all of your ideas (so include your username) and I will leave my own ideas unattributed.
I'll divide it up into categories to make it easier:
Category 1: New Animals
- Snakes
- Tortoises
- Hippos (Violet AJ)
- Beluga whales (Violet AJ)
- Manatees (Violet AJ)
- Bats as the first nonmember flying animal (licia144)

Category 2: New Items
- Bring back shelves (they're really helpful for den plushie shops)
- Tapestry-styled frame for Masterpieces
Category 3: Ideas for Events (new things to add to preexisting seasonal events, or new events entirely)
- Bring back the Jamaa egg fun fact hunt in April
Category 4: New Adventures
- More complex plot lines for adventures, i.e. alpha character depth or moral ambiguity (Cloudclaws)
- Adventure centered around Liza, protecting the panda heartstone, and fighting phantoms with nonmember RIMs as prizes (Bookgirl10)
- More development of Juno (Anonymous)

Category 5: New Features
- Let nonmembers have at least one more animal slot
- Allow nonmembers to dress their pets, even if options are limited (Violet AJ)
- A Trading Wall/item wishlist where you could list items you want somewhere on your player card (licia144)
- Game of the month and/or Game of the Month leaderboards with prizes! (licia144)
- Night and day (licia144)
- Let nonmembers type on Jam-a-Grams (licia144)
- Gem/diamond donation to other users (licia144)
- A Trading Wall/item wishlist where you could list items you want somewhere on your player card (licia144)
- Game of the month and/or Game of the Month leaderboards with prizes! (licia144)

Other:
- Bring back the original Trading Party and Play Wild Party
- Switch the position of Jammer Parties and normal parties in the party list (make the normal parties in front, because they're more popular anyways)
- Replace the Diamond Shop with Club Geoz and relocate all Diamond items to Epic Wonders.
- Generally emphasize educational content more

I think there should definitely be more than 3 animal slots of nonmembers considering that members get 1000. It'd be nice to have hippos and some kind of whales added perhaps belugas and also manatees for the ocean. More games should be added and itd be nice if nonmembers could dress their pets, even if they got limited options.

I agree. There should be more nonmember options. Everyone has been a nonmember before. Everyone knows how it feels to be less free, which is why I bought my OWN membership. I support the idea of Violet AJ. :)
DeleteI think adventures need a more complex plot line. Most of them goes like:

Before you say "kids cant understand complex plot lines" well . . there's "kids shows" like steven universe which still have complex plots and character development, and manage to still be kid friendly for the most part. So it *is* possible.
But cmon think of how epic it'd be if you could pick a side? You could get the opportunity to fight for the phantoms, or the alphas? (of course they need to add a valid reason for why the phantoms wreck Jamaa first.)

ReplyDeletetime travelling to prehistoric times i animal jam like the Cambrian,Devonian,
ReplyDeletecarboniferous, Triassic etc. you would be able to buy animals in certain periods like a trilobite for the
Cambrian but you could only be that animal for the period it belonged in.

Looking at the ideas here, I have some of my own.

2. At least 3 adventures or something based around Juno and why he guards the temple.
3. Some adventures where you have to act like a certain alpha or someone to not be detected (like becoming a phantom in search for greely).

I wish for Non-Member to still use THEIR paid for belongings after membership ending, it's upsetting how members have so much and they just can't use it anymore, many members have one month, for their birthday or treat or something, I had a week from AJHQ, for being a good jammer, but I grew attached to my regular fox, and the movements and everything, i've studied Animal Jam since I got my first laptop, I love AJ! the art, animations, EVERYTHING. including the member items i worked hard to get, but won't be able to use by my birthday, and that, is why i'm writing this. Puppygold on ajpw here! So I got futuristic headphones in the unbeta version so I am always on pw except yesterday also if u play ajpw search me up and go to my den I know play wild glitches :D

ReplyDeleteSince the art feature exists for artists, I think animal jam should add a writing feature, so we can write blog posts :P
ReplyDeleteAlthough I understand why this feature might be hard to add because no one wants wattpad stories in animal jam. The idea of books and just writing would still be nice.
I want more types a Phantoms and more adventurers. I want more story to the adventurers.

ReplyDeleteWhat if AJHQ updated the older adventures, adding in a more "Choose your own adventure like plot. I'd like to be able to choose what I tell the alphas, in a similar manner to Club Penguin's missions.
