Entry for Popcornpizza25's Spring Graphic Contest :)

 Hey Jammers! I have about two more final papers to do as well as an internship to apply for, so I'm not back to actual posting just yet ^^;

But because I have a small break and Popcorn's Spring graphic contest is nearly wrapping up, I thought I'd take some time to make and post my entry today! 

The in-game screenshot I chose to make transparent was this flower in The Lost Temple of Zios:

I thought the dark pinks were pretty, and had just enough contrast with the background to erase easily in Mac Preview.

And the final product is...

...this thing!!

The leaves ended up getting somewhat reduced in places, but overall I'm happy with it :3

Anyone wishing to use these transparent blossoms for editing purposes– go ahead! It's not my original illustration anyways; it's owned by Wildworks.

I'm going to eventually add a disclaimer at the bottom of AJ Stream clarifying that 98% of the graphics I use belong to Wildworks... cuz it's true! You don't own a piece of art just because you edit it. Thankfully, AJHQ seems to be fine with edits as long as you don't put them on a T-shirt and sell them or something.

      Thank you Wild! I've been surprised at how good Preview is for making things transparent. It's even easier than photoshop sometimes..

    I love those flowers! I think Temple of Zios and Coral Canyons are my favorite places to make nature-related graphics.. there's such a wide variety C:

      And oh yeah, Zios and Coral Canyons are amazing. I haven't made that many transparent nature graphics myself yet, but even on their own it's hard to decide which land I like more X)

    It was on this post and for some reason later last Friday I could not make any new post or view your blog. It was saying that MY OWN blog was dangerous and that someone on there could steal my personal info. When I did a safety check of my website, google said there was no one on there that could steal my info. That was very strange,has this happened to you before? I could not even make any post or view anyone's blog.

      Yes, this has happened to me before. I think it has something to do with Animal Jam and the Database Breech. It didn't lock me out, but it told me my own blog was dangerous. I was freaked out. Fortunately, when I X'd out the tab and came back in, it didn't tell me anything.

      Ok, I've been researching about this. If malware is linked anywhere on your blog (unintentionally) or through some way other than linking, it'll give you that notification.

      You guys might have already scanned your sites with something similar, but I found an online tool that will virus-detect your URL: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/url (it's not a download, you just paste your URL into the bar and does a basic virus check of it in your browser. From my research, it's safe)

Heyyo! I love it when you guys comment. I'm always checking for more, so even if you comment on an older post I'll definitely see it and try to respond. :)
